What It Does
A mirror for how you actually lead
Used well, the Leadership Equation gives coaches and leaders a shared language for the work, and a structured way to do it.

See the wiring
Map how your Identity, Presence, and Impact connect under pressure. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
Catch the loops
Every leader has patterns that quietly cap their effectiveness. The Equation surfaces them, so you can interrupt them.
Choose differently
Awareness turns automatic reactions into deliberate choices. Choice, repeated, becomes transformation.
The Outcome
When leaders see differently, work changes
The Equation isn't a theory you read about. It's a way of working that shows up in how decisions get made, how teams feel in the room, and how problems actually get solved.
For coaches, it's a precision tool. A way to surface what was previously invisible to the client, and create the awareness that drives choice.
For leaders, it's a daily practice. A way to keep your patterns honest and your presence intentional, especially when the pressure is on.
For organizations, it's a shared language. A way to talk about leadership development without falling back on competency frameworks written for a different decade.

Got a question about the Leadership Equation?
LEAP (Leadership Equation Advanced Program) is built around the idea that leadership performance is shaped by an interacting set of variables rather than fixed strengths or competencies. LEAP is designed for leaders who want to move beyond fixed frameworks and static self-assessments, aiming instead to see more clearly, adapt more skillfully, and lead with greater intention.
LEAP is grounded in the idea that an equation has two elements: an outcome and the variables that produce it. In LEAP's framework, the outcome is leadership performance, shaped by four core dimensions operating within one dynamic context, always interacting.
LEAP includes one Live Module consisting of three virtual training days led by two ACT Co-Trainers, along with three 90-minute Mentor Coaching Group calls.
To enroll in LEAP, participants must have completed the ACT LPCC Level 1 program. An ACC credential is not required.
Beyond live sessions, LEAP includes asynchronous content such as coaching demonstration videos, self-paced learning materials, and access to faculty office hours for additional support.
LEAP includes 25 core training hours, made up of 18 synchronous hours and 7 asynchronous hours.
Want to put it to work?
If the Equation feels useful, we should talk. Whether you're coaching one-to-one, building internal capability, or trying to land a culture shift, ACT can help you apply this in practice.
