Whether you want to become an ICF certified coach or become a more ‘coach-like’ leader, ACT partners with Brown University School of Professional Studies to offer virtual and blended programs throughout the year.
On both the Leadership and Performance Coaching Certification (blended) and our Leadership Coaching Programs (blended) you will connect with other senior leaders and refine those coaching skills required to lead individuals, teams and change in the workplace.
Once you are certified, we offer two programs to develop and grow you as a coach:
The Next Level Coaching Program will allow you to continue your development as an executive coach to create more depth and precision in your coaching. This program will also allow you to take the Level 2 coaching pathway towards PCC.
With a greater emphasis on the team as the means to improve productivity and performance, the Team Coaching Program will focus on group dynamics, how individuals interact with each other, hold each other accountable and co-create innovative solutions.
Coaching Certification Level 1 (LPCC): 8-month Certification Program
For Individuals who are looking to be certified as a leadership
and performance coach.

Delivery Style: Online and In-person options
The Leadership and Performance Coaching Certification Program at Brown University SPS provides an ICF-certified path to Level 1 and Level 2 credentialing. The course materials are contextualized to organizational and leadership development, targeted at individuals who would like to become certified leadership coaches in order to help others maximize their performance and results.
Level 2 Pathway: 12-15 month Certification Program
For Individuals who are looking for a path to PCC.
Pre-requisites: None
Delivery Style: Online and In-person options
For Individuals seeking a Level 2 coaching certification working towards PCC. Minimum of 5 years experience of professional experience. Level 2 program includes the LPCC Program and Next Level Program. It also includes mentor coaching sessions and the PCC performance evaluation. Level 2 can also be added after you complete Level 1.
Team Coaching: 3-month Virtual or Hybrid Program
For Coaches who are wanting to train to be Team Coaches to apply
coaching with teams.
Pre-requisites: Must be a certified coach through a professional certifying organization and/or accrediting body or have attended a minimum of 3 LPCC modules
Delivery Style: Online and In-person options
For coaches ready to advance their competencies from individual to team coaching. The ACT team coaching program at Brown University SPS is renowned for helping coaches to work with teams to excel in effectiveness, relationships and performance. This rigorous and experiential training for coaches is essential for coaches who are wanting to make a lasting impact on team engagement, sustainability, and helping to foster the desired team culture.
Next Level Coaching: 3-month Virtual Program
For Coaches who would like to take their one to one coaching to the next level.
Pre-requisites: Must be a certified coach through a professional certifying organization and/or accrediting body.
Delivery Style: Online
The Next Level Coaching Program is for coaches who are wanting more depth and new transformational concepts in working with their clients. This series focuses on synthesizing all the coaching skills and concepts learned in previous courses into a higher level of impact and professionalism. It introduces new tools that provide more depth, polish and courage to better respond to a wide range of clients and coaching situations with creativity, confidence, and power.
Leader As Coach: 6-week Virtual Program or 2.5 day In-Person
For Individuals with responsibility for leading and managing others who would like to enhance their leadership skills by developing a coach approach.

The Leader as Coach Program at Brown University SPS is a highly-experiential live online program that will develop you to become a more ‘coach-like’ leader using concepts that are grounded in developmental psychology, neuroscience, and research in leadership effectiveness.
Leadership Coaching for Healthcare Professionals:
6-week Virtual Program or 2.5 day In-Person
For healthcare professionals who are committed to cultivating a culture of resilience and a high level of effectiveness in healthcare.

Leadership Coaching for Healthcare Professionals is a highly experiential blended learning online program, designed specifically for busy healthcare professionals who are committed to cultivating a culture of resilience and a high level of effectiveness in healthcare.
Coach Mentoring:
3, one-hour virtual sessions
For Individuals who are looking for a coaching mentor.

Aimed at professional coaches seeking to deepen their coaching skills and range to work with all client styles. You will move beyond core coaching skills towards mastery. Our Mentors will challenge and stretch you to find your edge, creating the impact and results that your clients are seeking.
