About This Webinar

Most leadership development focuses on what leaders should do. But what shapes how leaders show up in the moments that matter?

In this interactive master class, Mike Hutchins, co-founder of ACT Leadership and author of the forthcoming “The Leadership Equation”, will introduce a new framework for understanding the forces that shape leadership performance.

Rather than focusing on a single trait or set of behaviors, “The Leadership Equation” invites leaders to examine the variables already at play — from the context around them and who they have learned to be, to how they show up, the impact they create and what gives them energy and purpose.

Through examples and reflection, Mike will explore how these variables interact and how greater awareness can create more choice in how leaders respond to the situations, relationships and challenges they encounter every day.

The ability to notice what is happening within ourselves, in others and in the situation before choosing how to respond is also central to a Leader as Coach approach.

The session will conclude with an introduction to ACT Leadership and Brown University’s Leader as Coach program for those interested in developing these capabilities further.

LEAP provides your core training hours, and the Level 2 Add-On provides the necessary “evaluation” for the Level 2/PCC through the 3 enhanced mentor coaching sessions. You still need to accumulate your 500 practice coaching hours.

Level 2 requires 125 hours of coach-specific training. Our LPCC Level 1 program provides 100 hours of training. To obtain your PCC, you will require an additional 25 hours. Our LEAP program with the Level 2 add-on provides the additional training hours as well as the Level 2 Performance Evaluation to become eligible for PCC credentials. To obtain the PCC with the ICF, you must complete 500 hours of practice coaching hours.
